Lisa Feldman has been exploring sculpture from the time she played with her mom’s tchotchkes, balancing them into Calder-like piles until discovering a love for photography, ceramic, and glass. Her artwork has been displayed with acclaim in various magazines and museums, including the MoMA and TIME.

Lisa’s forensic background has heightened her fixation on the small joys in life, whether within or outside of the body. After a career of over 30 years as a medical photographer and illustrator, her unique perspective is tainted with an almost macabre, anatomical focus, influencing her artistic style.

A major leg injury left Lisa unable to access her stained glass studio and shifted her focus to a new medium: her lifelong collection of various boxes. Each box’s individual personality tells her what unique world to craft within.

If you have a box that has sentimental value that you would like turned into a work of art, please contact her.
